Snitkawl , There was a posting (I believe under Oliver)not to long ago. I'm sure you could find it. It was a question about oil preasure. Many people responded. If I remember right , to high of oil preasure on the mains , let's oil slip past the main seals of the engine. I always wondered why my oil level would start to drop a little just about the time it needed changing.I've wondered this for years. I've also noticed the same in my truck. My oil level never changes , until it starts to look dirty. After reading the post I'm telling you about , everything made sence.
