We had an old Big Bear store here that was wasting away. They joined the CT family (a Farm & Country) 2 years ago & really stocked up! Wow, I loved it!!! They did a lot of sales. And then, the next year it was one of the 40 that were closed. They sold it out at 15, then 30, then 50, then 70% off. I got some really, really good deals, as this was all 1 year old (at most) inventory. But I sure was sad about it closing.

I've heard before that with Quality at the helm now, I'm probably not missing so very much....

TSC seems to have gone that route a couple of years ago, still a good store, but much more yuppie aware. :)
