I forget how the pump is set up on those things, but the usual method for getting fuel in the oil is through the pump.... or if it's like the Deutz air cooled engines that they no doubt copied, it could have a cracked manifold on one of the pumping elements. Honestly, I'd suggest you stand back and take a breather from this... and put some space between you and the ruski. That should make it easier to send it to the scrap yard or fulfill it's duty as a boat anchor somewhere.
I'm sure you could buy a decent western designed tractor with more functinality than that one for probably less money than it will cost to rebuild that engine. I'd ponder that over before I got too determined to save this one.
