Thanks a lot to everyone! I hand painted with a brush the wheels, the canopy, and the loader. I just used spray cans on the tractor, and the bucket. The loader was really hard to paint. I had red paint all over me. I climbed all over the tractor trying to get the inside of the arms, etc. I got stuck a time or two, and if I wasn't for my cap, I would be a red head now. Ha!. I kind of like the red loader myself. We bought the tractor to use, but I kind of like to look good also. It didn't really cost that much, probably less than $200 including the lights and degreaser. We have about 150 acres and 44 head of cattle and two bulls, plus calves. Oh yes, 5 horses and a mule. We put up quite a bit of hay, and there is always something that needs done around the place. It's a pretty good old tractor, still needs a little work, but it is workable now. I raked hay with it about 10 days ago, and have done some bushhogging along the drive with it. I also used the loader and put some dirt into some holes that was holding water right against the carport. My husband is going to cut some more hay tomorrow. We also have a 1991 2555 JD Cab tractor, and a 1972 Deutz 4006. The 2555 looks pretty good, but mine still looks the best. Thanks for looking and commenting.
