Joe: I remember tractor paint in the late '40's and 50's as being fairly good compared to every thing else. Last year I bid on a '54 Farmall with original paint and it looked very good. More than good enough to not need new paint to take to threshing shows. It was well takes care of and always shedded. Current paint may be better but I ain't gonna be around 50 years from now to care...harvey
