The mom is a bit of a flake. She fled to CA with her sick son without the fathers permission, A definate no no in MN and most states. She was not recieved well in CA. The Orange County Sheriff , District Attourney and a Superior Court Judge told her that her she had a choice, the son could go to foster care while she sat in county lockup waiting for the courts to figure this out, or they could go back to MN. This was a victory for parents rights, and we all hope that child does well.

For several years I had been driving by a farm house on the west side of Indianapolis that had a John Deere combine parked in high weeds in a lot behind the house.
