In addition to using a diesel stabilizer, top off your tanks as best as possible. Less air space in the tank helps reduce condensation. (same for gasoline too.) If your in warm or 'tropical' regions, you may also want to use a 'biocide' or algae killer too. I can't remember what brand of diesel additive I've got right now, but I'm due to buy more in a week or so. I think most reputable brands will do fine.. some people use Marvel Mystery Oil... Diesel engines are both thermodynamically more effecient due to their higher compression ratios and diesel fuel also has a higher 'energy density' than gasoline. Combining the two characteristics gives nice fuel economy. And yes, don't get caught with dyed fuel in your highway rig(s) ! bb
