Not at all. I think that President Truman, upon considering the available options, chose the lesser of evils. It was however still an evil. Nuclear weapons have been a fact of life for fifty some years now. There are thousands upon thousands of warheads in the hands of several nations. There have been for years. You would think by now that we would get used to the idea that other countries whether we like them, or consider them "not friendly" (like China was just a short time ago) are going to find a way to make progress in weapons technology the same as us...
