Mark, When I got my Oliver, the hydraulic fluid was so full of water from sitting outside and having the water leak around the boot that it took 3 complete drain/fill cycles before it would work correctly. But I'll admit that I'm in way over my head on this one. Let me suggest that you post to the JD board on this web site. I think you'll get responses from folks who know the right thing to do.
