here on il wi state line most of the corn is in the ground if it comes up or not is another question talked to a neighbor tonight he said "i planted a lot of corn that should not have been". he has it corn planted and some beans. he went on to say "i hope it doesn't turn off hot and dry very soon if it does we are in trouble". so i asked "how has that worked out"? he said "ask me that in october". we have had at least 3 inches of rain since sunday. since april 1 we have had between 9 to 15 inches of rain depending where you live.
