I remember an old saying,concerning growing cotton.It goes like this(first white then red three days then dead) Know what it means ? How many of you know what a cotton gin does to cotton?? Why is a Texas flower,the bluebonnet,called that? It is blue but why bonnet.And it,s not always blue.and the english word for hood is bonnet and word for trunk is boot.Know what their word dip switch means,also paraffin,means what? How about saloon?Also the term Wing in auto usage?
