Well, the perpetual motion crackpots have been quiet lately. I guess we're overdue for yet another explanation of how the Laws of Thermodynamics, which govern every energy conversion device in existence, somehow don't apply to this mysterious Joe Newman.
Newman's website is a Crackpot Classic. He makes it clear that he doesn't understand basic algebra, then throws around the name of Clerk Maxwell as if actually understands Maxwell's equations. Trust me, he doesn't. Even the "simplified" versions of Maxwell's equations developed by Heaviside require some pretty hairy math.
