A good day to plant. Things are getting better and everything is working good. Weather forecast was for rain after midnight but I quit at 6:30 tonight because it was obvious that it was coming quicker than that. Rain was falling at 9:30. We could get alot of rain and a chance of more later in the week. I planted 160 acres so still along way to go but at least we got started.
It was a nice day and things were working well.

It did create a little gap in the mark, about 100 feet of no mark doesnt help straight rows.
I do all the work and wrigley sleeps. Just aint fair. He does get out and run around when I put corn in the planter. When he isnt sleeping he loves to sit behind me and watch.
With the rain we are getting now farming is on hold again. It would be nice to get back at it in a couple days and make some real headway. Here in cen Il we sure do need a decent break in the weather. bill
