I'd recommend you try to find a good used John Deere 1020 or a Ford 3000. You didn't say how much area you're trying to farm or take care of. I owned a Ford 3000 for years and it was a good tractor for a small farm. I used it to plow, cut hay, bale hay, brush hog, push snow, etc. I now own a John Deere and am very happy with it.
