Don't want to get in any serious arguement on milk or cream cans. There was a difference, as someone previously stated, the amount each held. The cans used for milk was if my memory serves me correctly 32 quart or 8 gallon. The cans used for cream was much smaller and had one handle on the side for lifting. I can give a picture of the containers used for milk as my wife has a couple sitting on the front verandah that were tole painted. My history goes back a long time in the milk delivery system to the day's of delivering milk with a horse and wagon. Cheers, Murray
