Bottle feeding calves with a grandaughter ...That was the Last Mortal thing on this EARTH that B-I-Ls' DAD did,age 75,... he always got 3 day old dairy calves to feed up And was doing that when he had cerebral hemmorage , (severe Massive Stroke)... He and My neice of about 15 were each finishing bottle feeding 2 of 4 calves ..... Becky said they were just talking about kid stuff ,and other things such as ,what to name the calves he had just got .., When Grampa Roy stopped in mid sentence as if to clear his throat or cough , then leaned over against Becky , who. , THEN helped him over to a bale of Hay and leaned back against the rear wheel of the New Ford tractor granpa Roy had bought 5 yrs before..He was gone to the Fertile Heavens when EMTs got there in 20 minutes or less .... in My opinion , and as One who knew him well , it was a wonderful way to spend the last minutes of life ....
