Hugo Chavez is no friend of the US, but a terrorist? Hardly. You can use a lot of words to describe him--socialist, blowhard, dictator--but "terrorist" isn't one of them. As far as I know, the only significant action he's taken in the US has been to give free fuel oil to a bunch of people.
When you equate someone like Hugo Chavez with the likes of Osama bin Ladin and Abu Nidal, you weaken the meaning of the word terrorist. No doubt it's just a matter of time before MADD starts referring to drunk drivers as "terrorists".
