Lanse, Couple thought , take them for what they cost. 1. Did the sealer have time to dry before you put gas in the tank ? 2. I've had several tanks cleaned at a radiator shop and they only cleaned the inside. 3. Before you tear into the governor see how she runs with the "redneck tank", maybe the poor gas caused the governor to stay open to keep it running. 4. The sediment bowl screen should have caught most of the nasties so run some E10 gas to maybe clean the carb out.
