People give me chainsaws, weedeaters, etc. Ususlly a simple fix like cleaning the carb.
I also go for cheaper brands. Not ragging Stihl at all they are good just costly.
I bought, yeah bought a 16" Poulan pro saw 7 years ago. All I had at the time were honking big saws and my back is not so good. I cut around 15-20 pickup loads of wood per year and it is my primary saw. Still has the origional spark plug. I did wear out 3 sprockets, about 4 bars and lots of chains. But the little saw starts first or second pull, cuts well and will sit and idle all day.
