Went to New Hampshire yesterday to a maple equipment dealer's open house and seminars. Got a few good ideas, looked at a lot of EXPENSIVE new equipment. Tried to make deal on a used pan, not sure I will do it. Stopped at the JD dealer on the way home, ordered parts for my old dozer, I need to put the transmission back together and get it out of my shop, so I can work on something else.
Today I am going over the hill to the "crooked equipment auction". Take that any way you want to. I have bought several pieces of crooked equipment there over the years, some of them I got straightened out, some not. Other folks have implied that the auction itself may be crooked. My buddy called last night, he did a drive-by of the site, says there isn't a lot there. People are keeping their junk and trying to use it instead of replacing it.
