Leon, Going around the perimeter a few times give a mowed area to turn around the tractor avoiding mashing down the grass. On a rectangular or square field, break the field down into 30 to 40 foot wide strips. This is just enough to get the tractor turned around at each end and go back the opposite side. By making cuts across each end as Burrhead suggests or make about 3 circles around the perimeter wll give you mowed grass at each end to turn around. Each strip is mowed clockwise to help the blades to pick up the mashed grass that went under the left wheels. Ken McWilliams
