it is my understanding the generator on a cub cadet produces 12 volts, if you took out the regulator wouldn't you have a 12 system. also it looks like an original generator on an a. or does the generator on the a already produce 12 volts and is reduced with the regulator. i have read about converting from this site, i know all most nothing about mechanical things please keep it simple like tieing a neck tie the rabbit goes down the hole and back up thanks pheel pheelipja@yahoo.com
