Most buyers do not care as long as the price is cheap and they think it will work for a reasonable amount of time. This fact may be sad but it is still true.
Finding out the country something was made in when ordering online is next to impossible most times. I credit this to drop shipping; and sellers that do not really care where it is made. Even if a part has a warranty; the cost and hassle of shipping the original part back is most times not worth the cost of replacing the part by buying another.
Heck the problem I have is getting the part to work/fit as advertised. I often see guys that buy a part for X tractor online and when they get it find out that it is just a make fit universal part and all the pieces needed were not included. Take for instance a mechanical temperature gauge. The online catalog says it fits your tractor. Then when you get it you find out it needs a adapter not included to work.
