There is nothing the family can do to help him other than get him professional help. Gun play, wrecking his own house and terrorizing his own family ? If he will not go to the ER this is a issue for the police, they are trained to deal with this. Just make sure they know what they are gettting into and he dosen't know they are comming. I don't know about Texas but in most states what he has done would justify a involuntry 72 hour physc evaluation. Without intervention it will get worse. If nothing else please call child protective services and get those kids out of there. That guy is bomb waiting to go off, with professional help he may be salvaged.
