Finished house wrecking job on the edge of America {Folly Beach SC. south of Charleston}. Load excavator on lowboy when my brother shows up with it. I always drive when we move it, get a few miles from job when it thought I heard it sputter on a gear change. Call brother on radio to find out if truck has fuel. He assures me it should have plenty. Pass nice station that has diesel and I am about to start up long bridge when it shuts off This time I am out, in right lane Can not get off road for high curb. After several attempts to siphon fuel from excavator send brother to station to get fuel. Finally get going and get back to shop with plenty of time to get to bank and cash check. Stop at land lords office to get another check and spend to much time talking, bank closes. Go home with pockets empty except for beach sand. Not a bad day but it was 90 degrees and I am not ready for that yet. Ron
