The power wouldn't really scare me either if it was maintained... but it's not an 8 grand tractor. I think if you frequent enough auctions you find that big 2 wheel drives will bring more like 3-5 grand with that kind of hours and no loader. I can't see the loader adding much more than a grand to it at auction either. Those things are just big stupid power. For what you want, it's fine. For what most do with tractors that size today.... it's about useless. Keep that in mind when making an offer. The worst he can do is say no.
