Kermit, I've used it for off-road tires and didn't get any air leaks. It also had no effect on balance. If you call or email Gemplers and give them your exact tire size they can tell you exactly how many ounces you need per tire. I suspect 5 gallons would be enough for you and a couple of neighbors but Gemplers can tell you for sure! Dean
