Bought just that car , '66 GTO , tri-power 4spd , 3.55 posi in 1981 (Alabama car) spent the next 20 yrs doing complete frame off rest (ya you heard right , 20 yrs , family of 4,stay-at-home mom and starvin' body- mans income) sorry but family comes first. Well worth it when done. 1/4 mi et,13.20 with street tires and 12.90 with "stickies". Bought for $1350 , put another $5000 in it(not inc labor) sold it two yrs ago for $27000. Wasn't numbers matching car. Had a lot of fun with it but last two yrs only put 400 miles on it and found myself walking past it every day to work on an old Johnypopper. Times change and so do people. Love to keep every thing but not financially feasible
