When I was learning to drive, I knew nothing about muscle cars, but I knew that I wanted something different than what all of the other kids in my high school had (import "sport" compacts). So, I started looking in the "antiques and classics" section of the newspaper. This was a few years before the prices on muscle cars started skyrocketing.
The first car I test drove was a '69 SS 396 Chevelle. I was hooked. The Chevelle was too expensive, but I ended up with a '68 Camaro and must say I was happy with it. I still have it almost 15 years later. The Chevelle still holds a sweet spot for me though and maybe someday I'll have one...
