I suggest that you take a look around and see what dealers or others parts/service places are within feasible driving distance from where you are. There are many older tractors that could help you do what you've said you want to get done. But the day comes that you need parts or help. So that is something to bear in mind. 30 hp or up would seem to be about right. Wide front end. Be careful.
