COCKSHUTT 50 6V TO 12V CONVERSION

I would like to convert my 50 over to 12V. I will probably get the alternator and stuff from NAPA. What alternator should I use? What coil? Do I need new plugs? How about the starter? It is currently a 6V Pos ground system. I think I will probably have to manufacture a bracket for the alternator, but that's okay. A detailed plan for what I need to do would be greatly appreciated!
