Limited information but here goes. They are refered to as rice burners, GRAY tractors and names not printable here depending on how much trouble you are having with them. Most of those I have seen were reconditioned and sent from Japan to US. They didn't meet US standards if sold new but could be imported if reconditioned or as scrap. Some were made by Mitisubi(something like that). They were good little 10-20 HP tractors but now it is almost impossible to find parts and if you do they are high dollar. There is some information in the archives under GRAY tractors, this is to say they were not blackmarket but close,got in under a legal loop hole.
