Years ago, when the Indiana State Fair used to have tractor pulls, there was a guy who would show up with the absolutely ugliest old Moline that you could imagine. This thing was a diesel, but had an LP setup and various other things added to it. He had pipes and hoses all over the thing. It was a plumbers nightmare! In order to make his weight class and get the distribution right, he had to remove one front wheel! It hadn't been close to a paint can since it left the factory decades earlier. It always did well, and often won.
