We lived along hiway 281 between, ah well about 1/2 mile north of the howard/hall co line. They upgraded 281 and made it 4 lane from GI to the dannebrog rd. They had the rough grading done and product and equipment in place to finish the hiwy to St.Paul. They pulled off that job and went somewhere else in NE to build roads. Howard co. didnt have enuf suck to get the job finished.
What will it cost now to put the 4 lane in. We retired,sold out and moved to the south of NM not too far from the Rio grande.
