In 76 it never froze over 6". I dug up a sewer line in late January that year, by hand, and there was no frost. In 77 our water line to our home froze at 5' deep.
Most of the P and K hes been spread here. NH3 is being applied now. Oats are in and if we get them in here before April 15 they usually turn out OK.
I will start discing some corns stalks next week. Might plant corn the following week if it warms up.
Still been below freezing here at night and in the 50's during the days.
