choosing first tractor

I'm looking for an inexspensive,safe & reliable tractor with a loader for my small horse farm. I am considering a 9N or 8N, but am not sure if they will be suitable. I'll be using the tractor to smooth the riding ring, move manure, etc. I may occasionally find use for the 3 pt. hitch/pto, but certainly won't be pulling any heavy implements. Are the 8N/9N suitable? Are there any other types that might be better? Thanks.
