Sounds like you have all the equipment and the skills to do the job. Problem you will face is how to cover set-up/design costs. Everyone wants to get something cheap, not willing to pay enough for you to profit. You can see below that someone drove 150 miles to get a very rare part, at what they considered a "reasonable" price of 75 dollars. That is not even enough money for you to put pen-to-paper or fingers-to-keyboard. From my own experience, one part that is no longer produced is seed feed drops for John Deere grain drills, the kind made by twisting thin steel into a flexible tube. They have been replaced with rubber ones that do not really work. I can get you the part number if interested. This would be fairly simple as to design and each grain drill need about 14 of them. Tom
