Alberta: I'll expand the far outperform suggestion. You said it is on an old tractor so it may be 6 volts and that requires high amp(low resistance)ratings for easy starting. Which ever cable gives that will 'far outpreform' better. Look for or ask for the amp ratings,if starting performance is your consern. Style or long life is another subject. harvey
