I just looked at the book again and it says to put a pin in the adapter hole into the control valve and unscrew the control rod. There is no hole to stick anything in. The seal your talking about is pressed in around the rod. No doubt this will be shot when I take it out,I assume one comes in the kit. Take off the snap ring and the whole thing will come out?
