I'd expect the brushes are shot in this one. That's what went in the last one I turfed. I'd not be entirely against a reman Lucas if you have ready access to them and the price is reasonable... but I go with the Delco because I can get the darn thing off the shelf in 15 minutes at my local Napa for about a hundred bucks and it's got a 1 year warranty. I don't know what my NH dealer would do for warranty, but I'd expect that if I went 9 months down the road, it's probably my problem.... Thus far I haven't had any trouble with the Delco's I've installed.
