Code 33 is for the A/C compressor relay circuit. 37 is the torque converter clutch solenoid not locking when commanded. 45 is for the overdrive solenoid in the incorrect state. None of these codes are engine performance related and do not set the check engine light. You need to see some live data if the PCM can display it on a scan tool. I'm pretty sure though an 88 model year can't do that though. I've seen coolant temp sensors fail showing the engine colder than it actually is and causing the PCM to deliver too much fuel. A skewed oxygen sensor can do it too.
