Always good to share some common interests. Based on your reply, I think you'll find the book and program quite interesting. The book goes into a lot of explanation concerning the way engines produce power and common misconceptions regarding engine performance. I don't farm, just have a big garden and help a neighbor or two now and then. Still live on the original part of the family farm and have three of the four Farmall tractors I grew up on. They're definitely not show quality, but 2 of the 3 are in prime working condition. Your suggested database sounds like it could become so large as to be almost unmanageable. Certainly looks like a multitude of hours of work to me! Thanks for the chat, jd
