If they've lasted this long they'll last another 100 years or so. Tell him you're "workin on 'em" and keep them stored, preferably under cover but a drafty old machine shed will do just fine. That way, after you're retired, you won't be saying "gee, I wish I had that old tractor around". You can always get rid of them and people will be looking for collectables tomorrow just as much as today, perhaps even more so after the dollar takes the plunge. Bound to happen given what these morons in Washington are doing.
