I was sort of wanting to keep the original housing on there. Would you? I would also have to drill a hole for the Sherman. I am thinking about just using the gears, or having a machine shop I know, weld them and machine the gears down. By the way, Why would that Sherman not be changing gears, I tried moving the handle and it wouldn't move. I don't think the last guy that had it even knew it had a Sherman transmission. I brought it home before I realized it. Also, It has some arms that extend out in the back other than the three point hitch, I wonder what those are for. Their is suppose to be 4 but they are just 3 back there. The 4th one has been removed. They are real thick and heavy duty though, they look like they couple together on a shaft. Would this be what a backhoe hooks to or mounts on?
