fuel additives?

I'm planning on buying a Farmall M, SM, 300, 350, 400, or 450 soon. In all the reading I've done, I have not come across any suggestions for fuel additives. With the use of modern unleaded fuels in these older tractors, I would think that adding something to the fuel to lubricate the valves and pistons would be wise. But add what and how much? Or, is it even necessary to do so?
