yes!iused to trap for farmers ,damage control. drainage ditches mostly along corn fields that entered small streams here in wi..they love corn,willows aspen and wild cheery trees.their meat is dark red brown.baked in the oven,my x wife complimented me on how good the roast was,when she got home from work.[2nd shift]she asked was that venison or beef? [our venison in s.wi. pretty much corn fed.]i told her one of the flattails i got ther other day!her eyes got as big as saucers.ha,ha .
