Mark around here the Leyland would be worth about $1500 to $2500 or so.... tops. One concideration you might think about is that the parts for the Leyland are very hard to locate, or at least where I am they are rare and have to be ordered from any source you can find. If you have a parts source available for the Leyland it would boost the barter by a good bit. I'm remodeling my home at this time and wish you every success with your project. I have been able to barter with everything from calves to square baled hay so I guess I must believe in the barter system too. Just remember that the carpenter has to live too, so don't figger all your stuff at high prices and then want to allow him minimum pay for his labors. On the other hand don't let him do it that way either.
