In other news, the Capital Press (ag newspaper for the Pacific Northwest) reported on "degree days" for various parts of Washington for Jan 1 through March 19. 2008 was down about 30% from 2007, and 2009 is down more than 50% from 2007. Perenniel crops are at least 3 weeks behind normal around here. Sure don't see much "warming" anywhere in the country over the past couple of years.
