Lanse, From the brief look at that manifold, I think you should take the valve cover off and make sure that none of the valves are stuck before you turn it over and bend push rods or break rocker arms. Spray a little penetrating oil on the stems and GENTLY tap the valves with a PLASTIC hammer if they go down and POP back up you shouldn't have problems.
