NEED HELP WITH TRACTOR PRICE

my dad just dies- he owned a small yellow International tractor/ mower. We need to sell it, but have no idea what it is worth. He paid $800.00 back in the 80's for it used.
It is in fair shape. It had a number on it, but they say it is not a serial number. It had a J in it.
can anyone out there help me to know what to sell it for. People are trying to cheat us- we need help.
